Was going to post at length about topics such as my bizarre and exciting job, pretty-boy spies, time-travelling aliens, and fanfiction and such, but it is nearly 3 AM, so that's probably not such a great idea at this point. Shortly, then!

My personal canon can do backbends that enable me to accept or reject looms based entirely on which way's most convenient at the time, mostly because

I do have a wee bit of a bias towards mindlessly accepting book canon, out of some defensiveness or other, so that probably factors in. Wouldn't touch the debate with a ten-foot pole, though!
