All you need for a good movie are tornadoes and scientists. Actually, that's all you need for anything.

Fanfic: I write lots of fic in all sorts of fandoms and promptly forget to post it. What I have remembered to post will show up here. At the moment, the list includes fics for Corner Gas, Danger Man, every era of Doctor Who, Man from U.N.C.L.E., M*A*S*H, Sapphire and Steel, The Sarah Jane Adventures, Sherlock Holmes, Star Trek: TOS, Star Trek XI, Star Trek DS9, Quantum Leap, Stargate SG-1, Legend, and various and sundry crossovers. Recently, I've been ficcing mostly for Doctor Who (new and old and everything in between), and Star Trek (mostly DS9, with some bonus TOS, TNG and XI).

Friending policy: I mostly post my real-life stuff behind flock, and keep my fannishness and/or harmless weather geekery out in the open. I don't mind if you friend without asking, of course, but I'm more likely to notice and reciprocate if you drop me a line on the friends-only post. It doesn't bother me at all if people cut me from their flist at any time - interests change, and there's only so much you can read about the weather, anyway. ;)

Fandoms: In the gap between series of Doctor Who, I've been having a great time indulging in some multifannishness; I will flail at the drop of a hat. The fandoms I'm most involved in right now are Doctor Who and Star Trek: I mod or co-mod at legsofscience, the Liz Shaw community; tardis_view, a community for travelling the world virtually through fandom; and A Teaspoon and an Open Mind, the Doctor Who fanfiction archive. I also compile who_daily and trek_news weekly, and occasionally help out with soniclipstick. At the moment, I'm rewatching Stargate SG-1 from the start, and I've just finished mainlining M*A*S*H, so expect ramblings, fics, and picspams on those topics.

Ships: I'm a genficcing multishipper, I think. I'm happiest with wacky, plotty, adventure-filled longfic featuring my favourite characters (a list which changes daily), but I will read anything at all that's well-written, be it gen, slash, femslash, utter crack, or some combination of the four.

Real-life: Basically, I study tornadoes for a living. Expect lots of small-talk about the weather.
