First off - very important question:

[Poll #1136252]

I like it. Unless somebody makes me a super-awesome custom DW layout (any takers? *nudgenudge*), I'll probably stick with it. :D

Argumentum Ad Metam clocked in at just under 20,000 words (19,767) - since I can manage to write a self-contained fic of that length in one week, on top of school and work and volunteering... well, and midterms, I think I'll be all right for [livejournal.com profile] tardis_bigbang. Right? Right.

(I may go back and rewrite this one at some point - so much got cut because I was just trying to finish on time. Originally there was supposed to be another large-scale incident like the warehouse fire, and DCI Snell was going to actually get a much bigger part, but, well. What can you do?)

Went downstairs this morning to discover that my part of the fridge is mysteriously full of tupperware containers of shrimp and spinach risotto! I think my roommate got bored again - she cooks. Mmm. Unexpected food is the very best kind!

And join us over at [livejournal.com profile] legsofscience, you guys - we're rewatching "Spearhead From Space" this month, which is made of awesome! (Come on. Autons? The Doctor being overly protective of his shoes? An excellent Brig/Liz-as-Mulder/Scully scene? You know you want to join us! No previous Three-watching experience necessary, either.)

Very pretty layout! ...I just couldn't resist the latin clicky box XD

And good on you doing all this writing and prep for big bang! Wish I could get my own arse in gear and be just as productive, lol.

all this writing and prep for big bang

Hee - I'm pretty sure it's all just a spectacularly complicated way of procrastinating. ("Write my Big Bang fic? But I don't wanna! I'll, um, I'll prove that I could do it if I really wanted to? Yes. Yes, that's a good plan.")

I am getting really excited at the prospect of a bunch of new longfic to read, though! :D

I like the layout, except for the orange tags in tiny font on green background; those makes my eyes hurt a little. I like the twirly things in the header.

I'm just noticing that the custom comment page is a little jumbled up, too.

It's a nice layout, though!

If you're serious about wanting a custom DW layout; I love writing layouts. I've worked with Smooth Sailing, Flexible Squares and Bloggish so far. I'm not too awesome when it comes to making graphics, but I like to think I'm not all that bad with layouts, and I'm definitely always available if there's some sort of bug that needs fixing. So, if you're interested, let me know what you have in mind! :).

Yes, I'm planning on modifying that - I dislike the fluorescent orange links, too. My eyes, they burn!

I love writing layouts

Ooh, and I love your layouts! I've been meaning to get back to making myself some graphics, so once I've got those finished, I'll definitely poke you for help with layout-ing! :D Will pay in fic, of course. ;)

Hee, no payment needed. Writing LJ layouts is my way of procrastinating! xD

Wrote this one today. Only click if you're using Firefox, though. I haven't tested it in IE yet, and it's the sort of layout IE will fuck up completely.

Ooh - that's awesome! (Looks good in Safari, too.)

Next week will be my week of doing internet-type stuff - for now, partial differential equations. Bleurgh.

Oh, right! Mac user. I forgot xD.

Hey! Partial differential equations are your friends! Okay, no, they're not. They gave me a headache each time I had to deal with them xD.

I like the funky colours, a Doctor Who layout would be good and I like the Clicky-Latin, so I haven't answered it yet. Such a difficult decision.
Ah, I watchecd Spearhead from Space quite recently, so won't be watching it again just yet, but may well join your group anyway...

Ooh, do! We're just getting started up, and at this point we can use all the participation we can get!

If I had any graphic skillz left I would so make you a layout, for writing so brilliantly (I am reading my way through Argumentum Ad Metam now, and will post a brilliantly long comment when I'm done!).

um. And I forgot the other part of my comment. I DO LIKE THIS LAYOUT THOUGH; IT HAS HAPPY COLOURS.

Aw, thanks! Am looking forward to your thoughts! :D

And yay happy colours! There are some really brilliant premade layouts out there, but none of them particularly reflect the insane cheerfulness that is me. Moohaha. :D

Hmm...well, it'll take some getting used to, but this new layout is rather pretty. Only thing that I don't like is the yellow tag text (and how the tag bar overlaps with the journal text in the "Leave a Comment" screen).

However, I could not resist Veni, Vidi, Clicky. :)

Yup, I've got a bit of tweaking to do on this layout. The bright yellow links have got to go - I'm on a small monitor, here, and even my freakish eyesight's having trouble with this one!
