Guys, fandom_stocking is live! This is an awesome community wherein you post a letter containing your fandoms and general fic likes/dislikes, and then your "stocking" is posted, and friends and random passersby drop fics and icons and recs and graphics and general well-wishes into the comments, which are unscreened at Christmas! It's immensely fun (and while it's based around Christmas, like Yuletide, there's no expectation for the fics/icons/whatnot to be Christmas-related, of course), and a fantastic way to make new friends and generally get feel-good vibes of awesomeness. I really, really encourage you guys to sign up - I love trying to fill as many stockings as possible. And when you do sign up, let me know so I can be all sneaky and Santa-like!

I have now signed on for tardis_bigbang, bigfinishlove's Audio Ficathon, and am planning to participate regularly in tardis_quickie. Whee! :D

In case you're terribly concerned, I've written some two thousand words for various projects this week. Ish. Well, maybe "two thousand" is overstating it. As is "various". Um.

This stupid hanger-on cold is making me feel pretty bleargh - I was wobbling all over the chemistry lab today and very nearly spilled a nice, concentrated iodine solution all over my shoes. D:

However! I managed to finagle my way out of lecture on Tuesday, so my Thanksgiving break will be extended to four days! *cheers* Add this to the fact that I don't have any big projects due until the week after, and I think I might actually have time to get over this cold write this weekend!

Finally started watching "Heroes" - fun show! (And how much do I love the fact that I get some of the little Japanese jokes that didn't make it to the subtitles? Very much. And, hey! This is what I've accomplished with the education I got in Osaka! *beams proudly* I'm sure that's precisely what the Japan Foundation had in mind.)
