What? What? What?
Nov. 27th, 2007 09:00 amI think the Doctor Who fandom is about to spontaneously combust re: that new spoiler.
Me? Cautiously optimistic? Maybe? I really don't know!
EDIT: Since I know a couple of people who're trying to remain unspoiled on this one - fair warning! Comments contain spoilers!

Date: 2007-11-27 09:35 pm (UTC)But if you haven't seen the second series finale, this spoiler won't make much sense! I will white it out below, in case you change your mind about being spoiled:
Thus the madness. ;) It's been confirmed by the BBC, at least.

Date: 2007-11-28 01:09 am (UTC)Nah I knew she left. I have seen a couple 10 episodes but not many. Rose is okay but I'm more partial to Martha so far. I haven't seen Donna at all yet.
I don't get the wank! This has been on and off for what, 30-some years? You guys should be used to crazy stuff by now :D

Date: 2007-11-29 05:34 am (UTC)*grins* Yeah, theoretically, at least. Rose did a lot to turn fandom on its head, though - while it's definitely not the first time we've seen the Doctor get close to a companion (currently rewatching a lot of Three episodes, and he and Jo are so freakin' cute together), it's the first time such a large production has been made of it, and it's the first time the three-little-words thing has come up (well, arguably, anyway).
But I suspect Who fans will find the potential for wank in absolutely anything. ;)
Personally? I am a fan of all of 'em, for different reasons, and to varying degrees. Much like the various incarnations of the Doctor! So there. :D

(For me, Christmas and Sherlock Holmes are inextricably linked, due to receiving the Bert Coules audios for Christmas last year. Hence the "Unimpeachable Goose" thing. :D)
