That was crazy fun - playing Call of Cthulhu as a bunch of old folks in a nursing home? Priceless. And I was the only one alive by the end of the game - of course, I was also evil and killing people with a comb, so, y'know. Trade-off.
Best line of the night?
We were all discussing our crazy conspiracy theories, and someone came up with the idea that the administrator of the home was sucking the life out of people.
"There's just one question left to answer," someone said with a dramatic pause. "Did he bring his little straw?"
We were all laughing for several minutes straight. Such Who!geeks. :D
Also: unexpected real-life romantic story, as two of the players described their engagement during a food break. Proposing on a sailboat under the Golden Gate bridge at sunset? Pretty dang priceless.
Further proof that I need to go to San Francisco, looks like!
