Can't put it off any longer!

Yes, that's right. I'm going to go watch "The Chase", because that's where my Doctor Who Watching of Power has led me (I think I'm starting to get the hang of watching reconstructions, which is probably a good thing at this stage of the game). And then I'll probably get all wibbly and write sappy, sappy fic. Oh dear.
"The Space Museum" was full of delightful SKIENCE! The last ten minutes of the first episode mostly consisted of "Here! Have another temporal paradox! And another! And another! AND NOW WE'LL DO IT WITH UNEXPECTED ORCHESTRAL SCORE!"
Also, Ian very enthusiastically ripped Barbara's cardigan off. Just, y'know, pointing that out. (I love that she was just more mildly annoyed than shocked or anything, in a sort of "hey-not-in-front-of-Vicki" way.)
I'm also reading "Time and Relative", which is a Telos novella that is Susan'sLivejournal diary shortly prior to "An Unearthly Child". It's got some nice moments in it; I'll probably have meta once I finish reading it.
And before I forget: Thanks so much to
inlaterdays for the lovely, lovely rose in my profile! :D

Date: 2008-02-02 09:16 am (UTC)So, yeah, that bit where Barbara snaps at Ian that all they've been doing is saying "This is a nightmare" and that someone should do something? I totally read Ian's expression as, "HAVE SEX." *cough* Pity Vicki was there. And you were right about the cardigan-ripping. Was it just me or did she look vaguely disappointed when she found out what he actually wanted it for?

I do not understand why people do not like it. I must be easily pleased.
