eponymous_rose
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Characters: The Doctor
Summary: Last-minute replacement for the latest Deepsky Atlas chapter, because I'd rather post a longer chapter tomorrow and be able to end where I like. ;)
He stands to the right of the first hour of morning and waits for space to pass.
Worlds spinning, careening beyond control, outside possibility, dancing in orbits, perfect functions in space-time. The universe with new eyes, drifting within and without and around, all new, impossibly ancient.
That anything like this could be ordinary is unthinkable. It's impossible, but gloriously so, a singing descant to the imagined mundanity of life. Axes and dimensions and orbits aligning just so to create the image that exists either in time or space, but not both.
He turns, holds out a hand. "You coming?"
