Renovation

This is a very weird feeling - I just heard from a classmate of mine (just about exactly my age), who now has a three-month-old son.  I've really been out of touch, haven' t I?

I think my respect for her just tripled - she's gone from being a flighty and angry teenager to a competent and determined single mom, practically overnight.  She's working on a degree in elementary education, and has even managed to reunite with her estranged parents.  It's really something.

In other (less inspiring) news, I very cleverly left my headphones at home this morning instead of bringing them with me.  No exciting soundtrack for today's set of numbers, alas.

I suppose I could just set my iPod on shuffle and pretend that the song is really playing, but it won't be the same.

Alas.  Alas and woe.

I'm gonna install a mood theme tonight - I keep forgetting that's doable now!  Woohoo!

I might also install GIMP so I can finally mash together a Friends Only banner and a header and some icons and whatnot.  Pretty this place up.  *rolls up sleeves*

I've also got another mini-pic!spam to post at some point.  I loff my camera.
