LJ-related question

It's been months and months since I kept up my paid account either on DW or LJ (no, not a veiled hint - the basic account's all I want at this point), so I have a hundred and some icons on LJ but can only use 15. No problem! My question: is there a way for me to pick which fifteen it lets me use without having to delete the hundred extraneous icons one by one until I get to the icon I'm after? Since I mainly use LJ to post reminders at ds9_rewatch (and post on trek_news and who_daily) at this point, I'd like to have one of my DS9 icons in the LJ roster.

Feel free! I'm guessing the lots-of-clicking method will turn out to be the only option.

As I recall, it's pretty random. There was one theory that it was the icons you used the most in the last two months or something, but considering what I got stuck with last time I was down to the minimum, I'm not quite sure I buy that.

It's supposed to be the icons you've used most. (I don't think there's a time limit on that, so for example if you used an icon sixty billion times in the past but haven't used it at all in the past three years, it might still be one of your fifteen.)
