Just read that title again - not "Martian", "Marian".  I was partway through and wondering when Elizabethan England was going to get invaded.  Hush, anyone could've made that mistake!

Anyway, yes!  My first taste of the Sixth Doctor!  What did I learn, you ask?  (Well, you probably don't, but I'll just pretend you did for the sake of argument.)

1) When you want the Doctor to take you anywhere in time and space, all you have to do is fake a headache and then bribe him with chocolate cake.
2) I actually already knew more about immediately-pre-Elizabethan history than I thought I did!
3) Six is way, way better than I expected.
4) Evelyn's just plain adorable.  You know what this plot to overthrow Queen Mary needs?  MORE COCOA!

Now that I've finished the Seventh Doctor BFAs (yes, I've been busy!), I think I'll start in on these.  And then I might as well continue counting backwards and listen to the Fifth Doctor ones!

Uh.  Obviously, by "listen to a ridiculous number of two-hour dramas", I meant "study very, very hard for my music exam".  Obviously.

For some reason, I'm having a real attack of the paranoid over my bus trip today, which is funny considering the number of times I've taken this trip (answer: at least two dozen).  Ick.  Doesn't help that the taxi service's so unreliable here - you either get one immediately, or you wait forty-five minutes and then call back to find that they've got your address wrong.  My strategy?  Leave the house one and a half hours before my bus departs.  It's the only way to get there on time, and I can always read a book while waiting for the bus.  Of course, that means I tend to forget to eat supper.  I should do that now, maybe.  And pack. Oops.
