Well, not really all that exciting. I started transferring files over to my external hard drive and now have a whopping 19 GB of space on my laptop! This is about five times what I normally have! "My Computer" actually opens when I click on it, instead of thirty seconds later!
...
Yes, I saw that smirk. Nobody knock my teensy hard drive! This computer's hefty - it's fallen down the stairs and hasn't come off the worse for it! Can your fancy-schmancy 200 GB laptop with dual core processors do that? I THINK NOT!
Um. Yes. Not that I'm defensive. Poor widdle laptop. *pets* Built like a tank.
Right. I'm not weird in the least.
I took another unintentional break from writing due to the unexpected influx of, y'know, actual work. (What is this thing of which you speak?) I'm hoping to get Chapter Three of the Wanderer Fantasy at least started this weekend, but then, I'm visiting my parents and that means I'll be marathoning some new and wonderful TV show on top of studying music (hopefully not at the same time, but I make no promises). Or, y'know, just watching old Sopranos. Either way, I'll be distracted there as well.
I've already scribbled up the last two scenes in my head - just need to get them on paper and then, y'know, work up to them. Does anyone else have this starting-with-the-ending thing going in their writing? It's a bit annoying.
Ficathon entry's shaping up in my head to be pretty fun. Also: terribly cliche, which means that I need to make the plot run backwards to change things up. Or possibly sideways, if I can swing it. We'll see.
Also: there are approximately a trillion dragonflies outside my window at the moment - the big black ones. It's awesome!
