I was feeling guilty over entering a ficathon. I'm incorrigible, I know. But it's the happy sort of incorrigible. :D
Anyway, here's a meme I pilfered frominlaterdays. It looks entertaining, because I get to make up the questions! And I promise not to ask the creepy what-colour-are-your-undies question that comes up in so many memes. Erm. Yeah.
The rules:
1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.
1. What is your favorite month?
I don't actually have one! But because that's a boring answer, I'll say months like December and April, since, for reasons passing my understanding, I actually enjoy finals. I also like August, if only because in French it's pronounced differently depending on where you are. That's fun.
2. If you could pick one fictional character to snog madly, who would it be?
Ooh! Honestly? Not terribly big on snogging. But if I could pick one fictional character to hang out with for the day, it'd probably be the Doctor (surprise surprise). Any incarnation.
3. Would you rather be a butterfly or a dragonfly and why?
I'm gonna say a dragonfly - not just because they live four to six weeks more than butterflies, but because they're the world's fastest insects and because they've got this weird camouflage technique where they can make their prey think they're a stationary object when they're actually pouncing. Or, uh, whatever it is that dragonflies do.
I do like butterflies, though.
4. What place in the world do you most want to visit?
Place I've been before and would like to visit again? Paris or London. Also Berlin. And Osaka. And, um, DC. I'd go anywhere!
Place I've never been and would like to visit? Possibly Scotland. Again, anywhere's fine by me.
5. What age would you never want to be again and why?
I could do without the first half of being seventeen, since I spent it being needlessly argumentative, borderline depressed, and on crutches. Also, I was still in high school. Second half rocked, mind!
