Word Count: 7,728

Author's Note: Written for the Ian/Barbara ficathon at [livejournal.com profile] the_chestertons for [livejournal.com profile] minerva_fan, who requested a connection to later companions, romance, and a snow storm. Huge thanks to [livejournal.com profile] tigerkat24 for her wonderful beta! Snatches of poetry are by Keats.

Summary: Marshellian Paston's Fifteenth Theorem of Time Travel states that any two persons travelling through time are slightly more likely to meet from a probabilistic standpoint, within a margin of error described by a hypercube with complex dimensions.

Ian, Barbara, and Sarah Jane Smith give Marshellian Paston something to write home about. )

Finally picking up my Who-In-Order epic saga where I left off (i.e. where I jumped forward and had trouble getting used to reconstructions again): I've just finished "The Myth Makers", which was a lovely reconstruction of a serial featuring the First Doctor, Vicki, and Steven, which is an excellent TARDIS team that doesn't get nearly enough attention. Yes. I didn't take any notes - I was that surprised that I got sucked in as I did - so I am working from memory and with the help of the Internet, here. Forgive any lapses.

Maybe I'm just a sucker for the historicals, but I really enjoyed that. Here there be spoilers for the serial and for the Trojan War, yo. )

Well. I think I've probably spent enough time on that. Back to writing! I'm glad [livejournal.com profile] tardis_bigbang is setting the midnight deadline according to time zone. Whew.

Have started watching "The Daleks' Master Plan" between chapters of the Big Bang fic. I forgot Nicholas Courtney was in this one! He's amazingly awesome; I didn't know it was such a big part, either. (And he and the Doctor are all: "You shut up!" "No, you shut up!", which is so foreshadowing for the Third Doctor's era.) And ooh, Daleks with flamethrowers. Can it get better than that?

Am working on Big Bang fic - we'll put it that way. Don't want to quantify it just yet, because it's not very impressive, but at least I don't have to worry about posting another fic tonight. Will probably work on it until midnight/a reasonable stopping point around 10,000 words. [livejournal.com profile] tardis_bigbang writers, how are yours coming? Is your deadline rapidly approaching? (I've still got six hours to go, here.)
