Weather Geekery
May. 31st, 2007 10:36 amWow - it's gonna be in the low thirties (mid-eighties) all week. So... sunny. *squints* If we don't get some convective instability soon, I'm gonna go bonkers! Terrible dewpoints (three degrees?), so, despite the heat, extremely tiny probability of precipitation. Which means no thunderstorms. Which makes me sad.
(See, I was sort of excited about staying up here during the summer, because this particular city has interesting weather. In fact, it's the site of Canada's most severe tornado back in 1987. So far, we've barely had rain. And our dewpoints of three degrees make it terribly dry - that tornado had dewpoints of 18-20.)
For reasons passing my understanding, the international airport's actually reporting steady rain. Um. Not even a cloud outside, here.Ooh, maybe the rain's just in the one spot, and it's falling up, and they're about to get zapped to the moon!
Oh, gosh, I'm talking about the weather again, aren't I? Heeheehee.
