AAAAAHHHHH

That is all.

No, no, it really isn't.

I rewatched Turn Left before The Stolen Earth, and noticed a couple things I'd missed before (during one of the more apocalyptic scenes, there are a couple of cars in the background with only their right turn-lights going, etc. etc.). But oh, man. That was oh so cool! I haven't even been watching Torchwood (yes, bad fan, working on that), and I still did a little happy dance for Gwen and Ianto. Sarah and Luke! Martha and Francine! Jack flirting with everyone!

HARRIET JONES! HARRIET JONES! Oh, man.

So much for an intelligent review.

IS IT NEXT WEEK YET?

EDIT: Oh, right! I remember seeing the spoilery pictures of the filming for the last scene with the running towards each other and then the Dalek and such. They got it spot-on! That was ages and ages ago, too. Way to go, spoiler-fiends. (I was okay with being spoiled for that, because I was cowering in my chair the second I recognised the setup. Pretty darn effective.)

Yeah, I knew too but was shouting at the telly still. And I just rewatched and shouted at my PC screen. WAH.

THAT WAS AWESOME. I was pretty "meh" about last week, for the most part, but my god, "The Stolen Earth" was great.

I loved the sky. My goodness. The planets! The sky! BENDING SPACETIME!

I did cower a lot though- first, and I don't know why, but I was expecting Harriet to be at least a little dark-side. (The musical introduction of the subnet didn't help- did she retroengineer the technology from what was left of the Archangel Network?) She was totally redeeming, though. And second, all I knew of the last scene was the little blurb in Radio Times. The ellipsis at the end...well, we all know the writers aren't going to hand a reunion to fans on a silver platter. It was still nice, though.

Granddad with a paintball gun! New York! Unexpected regeneration scene! (I see no spoilers, I hear no spoilers. I hope I don't get accidentally spoilt like how I found out about Davros on Wired magazine's website, of all places.)

It's not next week yet!!! Anyone make any breakthroughs in time travel lately?

"everlating death" for the Doctor's "most faithful companion" ? *whimpers*

Regeneration?! *whimpers*

Oh, yeah, and Davros. Back and uglier than ever.

I *need* it to me Saturday!

I think it was probably more effective for me, that way. There was this sense of dread that wouldn't have been there if I hadn't known. [/rationalisation]

YOU HAVE FAILED ME. I WAS EXPECTING CALM AND RATIONAL FROM YOU SO THAT THEN I, IN TURN, HAD A CHANCE OF BEING CALM AND RATIONAL (FOR A LITTLE WHILE). BUT THEN YOU'RE ALL *FLAIL* AND I AM DOOMED.

NOT THAT I CAN BLAME YOU.
