Author's Note: Written because I have been reading New Series Adventures books and yet have been immersed in Ian/Barbara ficathonning (7100 words and counting, though it's caught sight of where it would like to end, finally). The solution: silly drabbles!
"Well," said Mickey, "I'm just saying, is all."
"Ricky," said the Doctor, wheeling around, and Mickey resisted the urge to correct him. "Why are you so convinced I've forgotten something? I'm a Time Lord, in case you'd misremembered. I don't forget things."
"Don't leave them lying around."
"For instance, yeah," the Doctor said. "Look, I've gotta get back to the TARDIS now, so if you're done pestering-"
"'Cause I could've sworn this was your sonic screwdriver you left on Jackie's kitchen counter." Mickey produced it from his pocket.
The Doctor blinked at him, then snatched it away. "Not one word."
