Author's Note: Very nearly forgot to post! Hammered out in two minutes, alas.
Prompt: "Sarah Jane, Harry: exile"
"But what do we really know about him, Sarah?" Harry glanced over his shoulder, as though expecting the Doctor to pop up out of nowhere.
Sarah sniffed. "Enough, I suppose," she said, then leaned forward, conspiratorially. "You know, he's an exile, cut off from his own people."
Harry raised an eyebrow, then found himself thinking of ordinary things: the good-natured chaps he occasionally drank with at the pub, the early morning sunrise - just a single sun, mind - and the brilliant colours that came with it, the calm certainty of a world impossibly far away.
"Aren't we all?" he said.
