Much like the Sherlock Holmes fandom, I think I'd rather work a bit behind the scenes. I'm beginning to agree. I got attached to the show before the series started again, and the sudden growth of fan culture connected with the new show has been occasionally overwhelming. XD
..I love those rare Holmes stories where we get a glimpse of the man behind the mask. The Three Garridebs always gives me chills.

which surprises the heck out of me given the quick not-too-sympathetic sketches of them we get in "Rose" Same with me -- I was furious with the writers after that episode, particularly for Mickey's characterization, but both characters rallied magnificently.
A spinoff series for Mickey and Jake! Who's with me? Me, me, me! XDDDD
