ROXANNE!

Yeah, it was even better the second time around. I marathoned a lot of the show last weekend when C. came to visit, since she'd never heard of it before, and that just emphasized that this episode included pretty much all my favourite things about the show: lots of Troy and Abed, Britta being hilarious (although I am a little disturbed at how well she imitated my patented pizza-is-here dance), geeky references/plots (GOATEES), fake-out over-the-top romantic moments, Jeff getting hit in the head repeatedly... good times, good times. It also had the little scenes that really make the show great: I mean, I keep expecting it to be a cynical little show (and Jeff's hipsterishness epitomises that), but then it'll have genuine character moments like the conversation between Troy and Britta in the bathroom, and of course the dance party, and they're juuuuust adorable enough not to be cloying. ♥ ♥ ♥

Also, thumbs-up for cramming seven different parallel universes into a twenty-minute episode without things feeling rushed. That's impressive.
