(Have been out celebrating with family and friends when not thesising, so am only getting to this now: thank you all for the overwhelming deluge of kind words on my last post, everyone - every single one of those messages made my day, so that I now have enough happy saved up for a whole week of rainy days. ♥ to you all.)

I haven't been very active in Doctor Who fandom lately because, hey, hiatus, but I have a fic rec for you in the lead-up to the new series:

Distances by alibi_factory - it's genfic that features all the Doctors. It quotes Brave New Universe at the start, guys, and there's science and wacky adventures and somber moments and nods to book canon and fanon and the whole ever-expanding universe of this show. It's everything I love about Doctor Who in eleven dizzyingly beautiful little snippets. Give it a shot; you won't be disappointed.
