Remix! Redux! Stuff!
Jul. 19th, 2009 09:34 pm(My city kind of got eaten by a massive thunderstorm last night, so between working damage control on a fifteen-hour shift yesterday, working mop-up on an eleven-hour shift today, and losing power in between, the internet has been a wee bit out of reach. And I missed Day O' Classic, too! Check out the Daily for today's awesome batch of Classic Who goodies.)

remixredux09 is up and running, kids! Go check out the awesome fics on display, in all sorts of different fandoms - I've got a couple recs to get you started, here:
- Lost Art (The Written Records Remix) [Doctor Who; Sarah Jane Smith; G] is a lovely little glimpse into the mind of a journalist who's set out to record the unknown. There would always be more to the world than she thought, and there would always be more firsts. That was the story she really wanted to tell.
- What We've Become (The Mt. Saint Helens Remix) [Doctor Who; Donna Noble/Martha Jones; R] is Martha Jones, and Donna Noble, and what happens next, and what came before. Sometimes Martha thinks the world is like that: composite. Layers on layers, and no foundation in sight.
More recs to come! Which ones have stood out for you guys thus far? I've been skimming, and it looks like there's a lot of quality awesomeness out there.
And hey, I'll play the game, too: if you can guess which fic is mine before the reveal, I'll write you a shiny new ficlet for the fandom in question. Hurrah!
