Any Neopets players in the audience?

Okay, okay. This is a bit on the silly side, but I couldn't resist the chance - for livelongnmarry, I've offered up my Neopoints for the Neopets.com game in five lots of 1,000,000 NP. Check it out! It's a fun and strangely addictive game, and a million NP will get you a phenomenal start on it. I don't play nearly as often as I used to, but I've always found it's great fun to work my way up from nothing and I wouldn't mind the chance to start again. For a good cause, no less! If you know folks who play the game, please let them know about this chance. :D

Whoniverse Fanfic Stats

Okay, okay, okay. My livelongnmarry fic isn't going to be finished until December 1st, and I picked such a distant deadline for a reason. Big news:

I am starting the Daily Fics again.

Why? Well, I stopped due to madness going on in real life due to moving and job and exams and all - also because I was feeling a little tapped out. Main reason I quit? Because I allowed myself to get behind, thinking "I'll catch up". Dude, that never works.

Why am I starting again? Because I've got time, because I want to, because reading through all these fics makes me look forward to writing more. I need the motivation, and if I'm not actually capable of writing polished fic, I may as well get awfully good at the rough drafts.

Another reason - if I get the fic written early enough in the day, I think there are enough people on the flist now that I may be able to finagle a quick last-minute beta. ;)

So yes! Fic! Lots of fic! This is exciting. As always, you can leave me a prompt and I'll do my best to fill it sometime in the next century. ;)
