Just when I thought Doctor Who couldn't get any more cracktastic...

...I read "The Crooked World".

Plot in a nutshell?  Doctor Who meets Scooby Doo meets Warner Bros.  Only, y'know, literally.

I mean, the one with all the talking poodles was awfully weird, but this takes the cake.

Have discovered that writing nonlinear Doctor Who stuff is extremely confusing, because you can't even throw in a handy-dandy little time-and-date stamp to put things into perspective.  It's all "21st century", "time has no meaning here", "1584th century", "black hole", "1584th century again with a bit off the top", "tea time".  Very confusing.

Also: English grammar and syntax hate time travel.  My tenses are getting hellishly convoluted, to say nothing of my pronouns.

This is fun! :D
