The past is a foreign country, Harry thinks, and watches suns rise over gleaming hills.
The Doctor scowls at the growing light, muttering about poor timing and celestial misalignment, and Harry watches him point to a prominent, craggy cliff - their tomorrow. And their yesterday, with its little successes and triumphs, with Sarah's laugh and the Doctor's inscrutable moods, seems nearer, more familiar than the Earth he left a billion miles and thousands of years away.
("Let's go home," Sarah says; they step into the TARDIS and to her they've arrived without ever having left.)
