Because [livejournal.com profile] meddow has a really pretty list that is easy to steal (sorry!), I couldn't resist the urge to start making a real plot of my Classic Who watching progress. I have a secondary goal to watch the whole thing in order (pretty easy to tell where I'm at, there), so I will get to them all sometime.

Conclusion? Needs moar Troughton. Working on it!

Someday, I will have my geek cred.

Definitely needs more Troughton. Watch "The Invasion"! It's wonderful.

I, meanwhile, just finished watching "The Mutants" which was not very wonderful at all. Fortunately I also watched the first ep of "The Time Monster," which looks like it's going to be much better.

Nice job so far! I've been keeping track in a little .rtf file and have got through 100 of 159 so far...though I've been at it since sometime in 2005, heh. So I'm a bit slow.

You definitely need more Troughton, but despite adoring him, it's the era I've seen the least of (other than that I'm boycotting Six), because there are so many recons, and recons, while better than nothing, kill a small part of my soul while I watch them. And so I have to be in just the right mood.

And in order is quite fun - I'd seen a few Four serials, and then my husband and I decided to start in order, and it's been quite interesting, just very very long. We're on his last season though!

And here is where I realize that I have just not seen enough classic Who. Of course, now I have a full list of everything that can very easily be kept track of...

I do believe that you may be enabling me. I'm sure my roommates will thank you immensely, lol. I've reached the point where I'm able to just about sense them shaking their heads whenever the theme tune echoes from my room, hahha. So absurd and I love it.

I'll second the recommendation of The Invasion. It's fab! And if you can catch the reconstructed version with the animated episodes by Cosgrove Hall, even better. Animated!Brig! :)

Steal away ;) [livejournal.com profile] lizbee's nicked if from you. I think I've accidentally created a meme.

I have to say, you are kicking my butt. Really, they should hand out awards beyond geek cred to those who manage to make it though the entire classic series (particularly in order, that is impressive). I love it, but it is quite a mission.

I think I'm gonna have to nick this just to keep track myself. So much I haven't seen. Currently working my way through Five.

I finished them all recently, and now I wish I was in your position, of having some Classic Who that I hadn't seen yet! I miss it!

You'll enjoy the remaining One stories, and miss him when they're over. I did, at least. The Massacre is brilliant, especially if you like Steven.

I see that you have plenty of excellent Five left to watch, eventually! :D

You need more Troughton like BURNING. Troughton pwns all!!!

And looking at this list? I'm a bit scared of my own levels of obsession. I only started watching old skool Who maybe...six months ago? And I've seen a startling number of serials already. Add in the fact that I have listened to every single one of the BF audios, plus the companion chronicles, and the Gallifrey series and am currently making my way through the Benny Summerfield audios...holy shit. I really need to get away from my computer more often.

Yay for more Troughton! I also agree that you need to watch Invasion. :D You'll love it. I'll also recommend watching Enemy of the World right away: Pat is simply terrific in his double role.

But dammit, I need more Classic Who myself!

Life in general Needs Moar Troughton. Which reminds me: What sort of reconstructions have you been using? Animated? Linking-narration videos? BBC Photonovel things? Inquiring minds wish to know.

I may be nicking this list as well, because I still have a long, looooong way to go. *blush*

(Also, "The Seeds of Death" is fun. It's refreshingly free of dodgy '60s gender politics and Pat does some adorable flailing in the last few episodes.)
